Hire Terms and Conditions
A booking is not confirmed until the clients fills out a booking form, pays for any cost outlined in the payment section of these terms and condition and receives confirmation of the booking from Deluxe Photobooth Perth.
Delivery, Setup and Pickup.
Delivery, set up and removal of the photobooth is free of charge and occurs outside of the booked rental period.
A $200 non-refundable deposit payment is required from the client, after submitting the booking form. The remaining balance will be payable by the client at least 7 days before the booked date, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties.
Our Requirements / Workplace Health & Safety requirements
-A clean, flat, dry, smoke free area of approximately 3m x 3m is required for setup and one power outlet within 5 meters of the area.
-If the photobooth is to be set up outdoors, the booth will require sufficient protection from the elements, in the form of sufficient opaque overhead and side cover on at least two sides, to afford protection from rain, humidity, wind and/or sunlight.
It will be the client’s responsibility to ensure their venue function coordinator or private function coordinator is made aware of these requirements and can accommodate them.
-Safety precautions when using the booth in the designated area;
* No food, drinks, cigarettes or e-cigarettes inside the photo booth area.
* No chairs or other objects to stand on to be taken into the photobooth area.
* No lifting up guests, piggy backing or hand stands, or any kind of gymnastics inside the photobooth area.
* No drinks or food on the photo booth tables.
* Children under the age of 10 to be accompanied by an adult when selecting props & when inside the photobooth.
* No props to be removed from the photobooth area.
* The rear curtain that will be behind you is loose fitting. Please don’t lean back against the curtain as it will not support your weight.
The client is responsible for paying any charges imposed by the venue. These charges may include, but are not limited to, parking, electricity and internet connect.
Damages to Equipment
In order to prevent damage to equipment, Deluxe Photobooth Perth reserves the right to deny service to any person.
If circumstances arise where a threat or implied threat of harm, damage or violence to Deluxe Photobooth’ staff or equipment, Deluxe Photobooth Perth reserves the right to cease providing services. If the situation is able to be resolved within 30 minutes, Deluxe Photobooth Perth will resume services. If the situation is unable to be resolved, Deluxe Photobooth Perth will not resume providing service and the client will receive no refund of booking cost.
The client is liable for any damage or theft to Deluxe Photobooth Perth’ equipment during the client’s event whether caused by the client, client’s guests or any other person in attendance at the event whether invited or not. Should such damage or theft occur, the cost to repair/replace the equipment will being charged to the client to be paid within 15 days of the event.
We agree to supply props for our clients. Any damage to the props will be liable by the client stated on the booking form.
Use of Images/Privacy
When hiring from Deluxe Photobooth Perth, the client gives permission for images captured at the event to be used on the Deluxe Photobooth Perth website and for advertising purposes.
Deluxe Photobooth Perth will not use images which are deemed unsuitable or inappropriate on our website or for advertising and will not use any content that we consider may be personally damaging to any person(s).
Deluxe Photobooth Perth will not sell your personal details to any third party and will take all reasonable measures to ensure that your personal details remain confidential.
Failure to Complete
At all times care will be taken by Deluxe Photobooth Perth to ensure delivery of the booked package, however, should unforeseen equipment failure prevent this, during the normal course of events, liability will be limited to a total or partial refund of monies paid, dependent on our deliberation of the unique circumstances and/or the amount of the booking that was fulfilled successfully.
Deluxe Photobooth Perth cannot be held in any way liable if equipment or accessories failure or damage (including electrical, water or other liquid damage) is due to any negligence, an act or fault on the part of any venue or venue staff or is due to any negligence, act or fault on the part of any client or client guest or other person using a
Deluxe Photobooth Perth photobooth at your event/function, which negligence, act or fault, willful or accidental in turn prevented the successful completion of the agreed to Deluxe Photobooth Perth service(s).
Travel and Pickup
Delivery and pickup are free of charge if within 25kms from our nearest base and pickup is before 11.59pm. If outside our nearest base and pickup is after 11.59pm additional fees may occur.
Any travel charges must be agreed to by both parties and shall be disclosed in writing by Deluxe Photobooth Perth prior to booking.
If pick up is required after 11.59pm, please state required pickup time on the booking form.
Extended booking time on day of event
Should the client, or their representative decide to extend the booked time during the course of the event, the extended rates will be $75 per hour (incl GST), payable at the beginning of the extended time.
Deluxe Photobooth Perth cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays at the venue, which are out of our control.
Deluxe Photobooth Perth will not be held responsible for any circumstances outside their control. This includes, but is not limited to, fire, riot, civil commotion, accidents, acts of nature and equipment failure. If such circumstances arise, all reasonable efforts will be made by Deluxe photobooth Perth to provide service or find a suitable replacement service. If this is not be possible, the client will receive a refund of all payments received by Deluxe Photobooth Perth for the booking.
Direct deposit transfers
Our banking details for direct deposit will be noted on your invoice and should not change at any time. If you receive any emails purporting to represent Deluxe Photobooth Perth, listing changes to our banking details, please contact Deluxe Photobooth Perth by phone before making any payments. We will not be held liable for payments made to the wrong location.
Cancellation and Changes to confirmed bookings
Requests for changes of the event date must be made at least 20 days before the original event date. A date change is subject to availability and will require a new booking form
All cancellations will result in the client forfeiting the deposit, however if Deluxe Photobooth Perth is notified of cancellation more than 20 days before the event date, credit to the value of the deposit will be given to the client to use for any future booking made within six (6) months of the date of cancellation.
Cancellations made within 20 days of the event date will result in the client forfeiting all payments made to Deluxe Photobooth Perth
Deluxe Photobooth Perth can cancel any booking at any time. If Deluxe Photobooth Perth decides to cancel a booking, all payments made will be refunded to the Client.
If an event is cancelled as a direct result of state or federal government regulations relating directly to COVID-19, Deluxe Photobooth Perth will offer credit for the full amount paid for the booking to use at a later date within a twelve (12) month period.
The Deluxe Photobooth Perth operator may pause or terminate the use of the photobooth at any time during the event if they consider that the guests are behaving in a way that the operator(s) believes to be dangerous to themselves or any persons, or potentially damaging to the product.
The photobooth attendant reserves the right to exclude a person or person(s) from the photobooth if the attendant considers that person to be grossly intoxicated or behaving in an aggressive or abusive manner towards the photobooth attendant or behaving in a manner that the photobooth attendant considers may damage Deluxe Photobooth Perth property.
